
Josh Simpson is a board member of the Property Owners Association of Switzerland AG, an expert in private equity, and a former professional soccer player.
Raised in Vancouver and Victoria (Canada), he holds dual Swiss-Canadian citizenship. His professional career began in professional soccer, where he played in the USA, England, Germany, and Turkey, before concluding his active career with the BSC Young Boys in Bern. As a Canadian national player, he participated in 44 international matches.
During his active soccer career, Josh began investing in real estate. Today, he has extensive experience in the real estate markets of the USA, Canada, and Switzerland. After his sports career, he transitioned to the finance and real estate industry, where he managed sophisticated clientele from the sports world at a major Swiss bank. Now, Josh shares his knowledge through various board mandates. He is a co-founder of the Canadian Premier League (CPL) and co-founder and president of the Pacific Football Club in Canada.
Josh studied Finance and Real Estate at the University of Portland and continues his education continuously (e.g., Real Estate Principles at UCLA and a diploma in Club Management from FIFA).
Privately, Josh lives in Zurich with his wife and four children. His passions outside of work include soccer, health, and nutrition.
